•	Pittsburg, Contra Costa County: Several junkyards and gas stations were used.

•	Richmond, Contra Costa County: The Tucker warehouse was shot at a defunct Ford plant at the Richmond Marina.

•	San Bruno, San Mateo County: The soda shop was filmed at 601 San Mateo Avenue.

•	City and County of San Francisco: War Memorial Opera House across from City Hall.

•	San Pablo, Contra Costa County: Tripp's Texaco, 13th Street.

•	San Rafael, Marin County.

•	Sonoma, Sonoma County: The Armstrong Estate.

•	Vallejo, Solano County.

The Armstrong Estate in Sonoma, CA, was used for Tucker's family home in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

the Alice Theater in downtown Oakland.

This junkyard scene might have been filmed in Pittsburg.
