This movie, directed by Roger Corman, co-produced by Francis Ford Copppola, and starring Jack Nicholson and Boris Karloff, was filmed over the weekend on a set and then at various coastal locations.

Filming Locations —

Big Sur, Monterey County: They filmed for 11 days at Big Sur (instead of the budgeted three days) where Jack Nicholson was splahed by a huge wave which almost drowned him in the surf.
