  This ranting scene, filmed on Baker Street at Bay Street at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, was edited out of the original release. Even the restored version on the DVD, though, did not include the rest of this scene which involved the camera pulling up into the air and then continuing over the City. As the view passed over 1101 Green Street, we would have seen two babes playing badminton on the roof. Also, would Peter Donahue really have had a (510) number three hours north of the Bay Area? Yes, the scene may have been filmed in the (510) of Point Richmond, but the fictional town of Somerset would either be located somewhere in the (707) or (530). |

 The inside joke here is that the police officer on the left actually is executive producer Ricky Strauss in an uncredited cameo. Stuart M. Besser also produced 40 Days and 40 Nights and Scream, both of which were also filmed in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. |
