The rope bridge scene was filmed over the Crooked River at the Canyons Ranch, just outside of Smith Rock State Park,
near Smith Rock Loop Road off Lambert Road, Terrebonne, OR. The ranch is accessed at 1336 Northeast Eby Avenue. |
 
Some of the bridge shots, though, were combined with green-screen imagery done in Los Angeles. |
 
 
The fictional town of Bridge City was built on the Boundary Dam in Metaline Falls, WA. |
