Filming Locations —

•	City and County of San Francisco: Union Square. City of Paris. Westin St. Francis Hotel. One Embarcadero Center. Lombard Street. Maritime Plaza. Cathedral Hill Hotel. Grove Street.

The opening shot of the movie, and the one that is shown again repeatedly throughout the film, is San Francisco's Union Square,
bounded by Post, Stockton, Geary, and Powell Streets. This particular view is looking east from the St. Francis Hotel.

The City of Paris department store is
now the Neiman Marcus at 150 Stockton Street.

This view, from within City of Paris, nicely shows the
Westin St. Francis Hotel in the background.

Another view of Union Square, this time from the southeast.

The van is on the south side of Geary Street at the corner of Stockton. Macy's is the building in the background.

That "S" looks like it's from the old Fosters cafeterias, but I don't know yet where this particular one was located.

This appears to be the Embarcadero One, between Clay and Sacramento Streets at Battery Street.

This was possibly filmed in the St. Francis Hotel.

The car is turning south on Pierce Street from Lombard.

This is probably Alta Plaza Park in Pacific Heights.

The filming of this movie, probably around 1973, caught some buildings
under construction, but I'm not sure yet which ones these are.

This is One Maritime Plaza, built on top of Front Street between Washington and Clay Streets.
Notice in the second picture that the Golden Gateway Apartment towers haven't been built yet.

The Jack Tar Hotel is now the Cathedral Hill Hotel, 1101 Van Ness Avenue at Geary Street, San Francisco.

Well, it's the corner of Grove Street and something....

Back at One Embarcadero Center.
