Chico, Butte County: The following is from the Butte County Film Commission:

This movie made Bidwell Park known as Sherwood Forest forever. Wander around the park and look for Robin Hood Glade, located on the north side of Big Chico Creek near where Highway 99 crosses the park. Big Chico Creek is also the location of the fight scene between Robin Hood and Little John. After being finished, Chico celebrated by throwing a big party for Warner Brothers and dedicated the north part of Ivy Street to the Company, renaming it Warner Street.

Monterey, Monterey County.
