Novato, Marin County: Mikey and Bobby's home was on Norman Drive in the Rafael Village area of Ignacio. The schools scene where Mikey and Bobby got sick while eating their lunch was at Novato High School. There were several more school scenes that did not make it into the final movie. The movie theater is located on Grant Avenue in Downtown Novato. Mikey was beat up by the neighborhood kids in the open space next to Highway 101 that is now the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center. |
