Palo Alto, Santa Clara County: The Sundance Mine Company Steakhouse, 1921 El Camino Real, was used for scenes set at a Hollywood bar in 1978. |

City and County of San Francisco: The crime scene was shot at Pier 32 on the Embarcadero. |

San Rafael, Marin County: The parking lot, dining area, and back offices of Tea-n-Crumpets, then located on 4th Street, were used for three different scenes. China Camp State Park was the site where Jane jumps off a pier into the water. The home of the producer was also used. |
