Red Bluff, Tehama County: At the Tehama County Fairgrounds, some scenes were filmed at both the Red Bluff Round-Up rodeo and parade.


SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Filming Locations —

Woodlake, Tulare County: The opening scenes of the movie were shot at Jackson Ranch, home of Johnny Jackson, announcer for the Woodlake Lions Rodeo (he also appeared in the movie).
