Brooke Adams' character lived at 720 Steiner Street at Grove, across from Alamo Square.

The Department of Public Health at 101 Grove Street at Polk Street, across the road from City Hall.

Somewhere in Chinatown.

San Francisco City Hall is visible out the window.

The distressed man running towards the car was played by Kevin McCarthy, the star of the original 1956 film version. This is at the corner of Leavenworth & Eddy.

After running past Donald Sutherland's car, Kevin McCarthy was hit by another car, just a little ways over on Eddy Street. But when Sutherland tried to report this by phone to the police, he mistakenly said it happened at Leavenworth & Turk.

The Bay Bridge is visible in the distance. This house was on
Castle Street on Telegraph Hill, between Union and Green.

The Transamerica Pyramid appears many times throughout the entire movie, apparently as a joke since United Artists was owned by Transamerica at the time the film was made.

Ellis Street and Powell Streets, just south of Union Square.

Pier 33.

Broadway Tunnel.

The Black Bart Saloon was located in the Hotel San Francisco on Market Street near the Civic Center.

Beppino's Restaurant was also in the Hotel San Francisco.

The classic final scene of the movie was all filmed in front of the City Hall building.
