Fort Ross, Sonoma County: The crew originally intended to actually film at the Fort Ross beach, and even built a bridge over the creek to bring in equipment, but instead pulled out since the waves were too choppy. They did, though, use Kolmer Cove which is just north of Fort Ross. |

The opening credits were over a sunset flyby north on the Pacific Coast of Sonoma County. |
