•	Glacier National Park, Flathead County: One of the running shots of Forrest Gump passing a mountain lake was filmed at Glacier National Park.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Filming Locations —

•	Exposition Park, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County: University of Southern California.

•	Hollywood, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County: Grauman's Chinese Theater, 6925 Hollywood Boulevard. Paramount Studios, 5555 Melrose Avenue.

•	Koreatown, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County: The disco and strip club scenes were shot at the Ambassador Hotel. The archival footage of Robert F. Kennedy's assassination also occurred here.

•	Santa Monica, Los Angeles County: Santa Monica Pier.

ARIZONA

•	Flagstaff, Coconino County.

UTAH / ARIZONA

•	Monument Valley.

I'm not sure about the first picture, but the second one is almost definitely from one of the shots done at Glacier National Park.
