Filming Locations —

Lombard, Broadwater County: The train crossed the Missouri River and passed another train that was waiting on the side.

Miles City, Custer County: Numerous scenes, including interiors, were shot in the railyard and roundhouse.

Sixteen, Meagher County: The landslide and clean-up scene was shot at Sixteenmile Canyon. Another shot was done of the train coming out of the Eagle Nest Tunnel.

Chicago, Cook County: Union Station's yards, approach tracks, and interior were all used as filming locations.
